About Zilino

Zilino takes a new approach to online consultations. We bring good process to the web and enable practitioners to deliver great participation experiences on behalf of their organizations and communities.

Following a modular toolkit approach, our various modules can be combined and configured to support a broad range of consultation scenarios. Some of our features include:

Logbook

At the center of every consultation is a project blog. As the main communications channel, it allows the facilitator team to "tell the story" of a project from beginning to end. The example, facilitators can welcome new participants, announcements upcoming phases, provide instructions, provide background information, share highlights and emerging themes etc.

Library

The resource library allows the facilitator team to share relevant background information and other learning materials. Collaborative in nature, the library enables participants to take on the role of researcher, curator, editor, fact checker, or tutor.

Plenary

The forum supports large-group conversations and allows the facilitator team to capture the essence of what is being discussed by way of applying "summary statements" (structured content synthesis).

Roundtable

Real dialogue only happens in small groups. Zilino allows the facilitator team to divide any large group into tables of two or more participants and assign them a topic, a task, and a timeline. Table participants can create report-backs that are shared with the larger group.

Pulse

The survey tool supports the exploration of group composition and group preferences over time (coming soon).
